Quote of the Day: Gene Simmons on Adam Lambert

"If only the world was not homophobic, but it is. I would be the first one to vote for equal rights for gay women and men, and get the church and the state to stop telling everybody how to lead their lives, but do I think he's killed his career? Oh, in an instant." - Gene Simmons on Adam Lambert

Well, at least he did go on to say he hopes he's wrong, and that Adam becomes the new Beatles.

NOT that I'm defending his ridiculous statement.

Yeah, Gene doesn't seem to be homophobic but I thought his utter certainty that Adam Lambert will never have a career because he's openly gay was really interesting.

I think he's wrong and I hope he's wrong too!
