Gay Help Wanted: MileHighGayGuy/Brothas4Ever/Downtown Bar/Denver County Fair

1. Salespeople:
MileHighGayGuy.com has really grown over the past five years. We've been named Colorado's Best Gay Blog three years running in the OUTStanding Awards and have recently secured several new business partners and advertisers including The City of Denver, Comedy Works, Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret and Bearracuda.

Now it's time to take it to the next level!

MileHighGayGuy.com is seeking experienced part-time salespeople. The position requires someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented and who, preferably, is familiar with the GLBT community. 2. Program Director:

Ensures the quality of all programs and activities pertaining to Brothas4Ever and African-American MSM. Supervises all operations of Brothas4Ever drop-in center, Brothas4Ever groups, outreach and related activities.

Job Description:
a)      Supervise operations pertaining to Brothas4Ever, including group level interventions, outreach, the drop-in center and other program events.
b)      Supervise D-Up intervention Opinion Leaders.
c)      Facilitate, along with other Brothas, the weekly groups and Many Men, Many Voices retreats.
d)      Represent It Takes A Village at the Colorado HIV Prevention Committee meetings, and other community events and meetings pertaining to MSM.
e)      Monitor evaluation measures to ensure that program objectives are being reached.
f)        Provide monthly reports to ED and to CDPHE.
g)      Collect PEMS and other data.
h)      Develop resources for use by clients.
i)        Attend trainings that are useful and required for job performance, and attend mandatory agency meetings and trainings.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or social work field. At least three years of experience conducting HIV prevention activities. At least five years experience with HIV-related programs may be substituted for degree. Demonstrated experience working with African-American, same-gender loving, gay or bisexual men required. Knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, poverty, and other issues that can impact an individual's ability to prevent acquiring HIV preferred. Computer skills, good reading and writing skills and excellent documentation skills required. Supervisory experience required. Training in D-Up intervention and the Many Men, Many Voices curriculum required within 4 months of hiring.
