  • Colorado Vertical Helicopter Tours invites guests to feel the freedom and excitement of a helicopter ride. From a night flight of Garden of the Gods to a scenic sunrise tour of Pikes Peak, passengers are in for unrivaled views.
Sky High Thrills:
  • Colorado’s newest zip line at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash offers a zippy way to see the ranch with five zip lines winding guests through treetops and over meadows at 40mph. If the speed doesn’t take their breath away, the view will.

  • Glider Rides in Durango has been treating passengers to the thrill of silent flight since 1976. Sailplanes are towed aloft to an altitude of up to 3,500 feet and then released, offering extraordinary views of the San Juan Mountains and Animas River up to 100 miles in any direction.

  • SkyVenture Colorado in Lone Tree, just outside of Denver, offers indoor skydiving through a vertical tunnel. This exhilarating experience combines precise air flow control with certified instructors.

  • The Royal Rush Skycoaster at the Royal Gorge Bridge is one of only 87 in the world and offers one of the biggest adrenaline rushes in the state, sweeping passengers on a 50mph free-fall tower to momentarily hang 1,200 feet above the Arkansas River.

  • The Mile Hi Skydiving Center is Colorado's largest skydiving facility with more than 35,000 jumps made annually and the only full-time skydiving operation in the Denver-Boulder area. Thrill-seekers are sure to enjoy panoramic views from their freefall starting at 17,500 feet.

  • Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park offers multiple ways to explore Colorado by sky. Park visitors can take a ride on the Giant Canyon Swing that launches riders out over Glenwood Canyon, 1,300 feet above the Colorado River, or take a leap of faith on the state’s only bungee jump perched on the side of Iron Mountain at an elevation of 7,100 feet. The park is also set to debut the Cliffhanger Roller Coaster this summer as the highest full-size coaster in the country, standing at an elevation of 7,160 feet.
