The newest video for SPOOK HOUSES', "American" is decidedly that. Borrowing footage from family home movies, this east coast bred quartet, provide a vintage mash-up of hallmarks of American domesticity and the disillusionment that accompanies them. Grainy vintage images of bikes, baseball, babies and dogs cut in time to this angsty jam, the "American" video pays homage to SPOOK HOUSES suburban New Jersey roots with just the ride amount of nostalgia.

The first single off the acclaimed, Trying LP, "American" is a brash blend of crashing cymbals and chugging bass lines that come together to craft a slacker burnout anthem that Impose Magazine called a "two-minute epic about the stupidity and glory of youth."
