Don't Look Down On Me Chronicles A Day In The Life Of A Man With Dwarfism

Don't Look Down On Me by Jonathan Novick, is now available on Youtube. The short film chronicles a day in the life of Jonathan, living in New York City, who was born with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. Jon uses footage from a hidden camera disguised as a button on his shirt to show what he has to deal with: mistaken identity, harassment, condescension, and bigotry.

"The next time you see someone who is different than you, think about what their day might be like. Think about all the events of their life leading up to that point...and think about what part of their day do you want to be?," is the final question filmmaker Novick poses to the viewer.
