Arizona marriage ruling will stand

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne on Friday announced that his office will not appeal a ruling against the state's marriage equality ban, leading a number same-sex couples in the state to seek marriage licenses

Horne said in a press conference that both he and Gov. Jan Brewer agreed that appealing the decision would be a waste of state resources. "I have decided not to appeal today's decision, which would be an exercise in futility," Horne said.
