Rule barring federal contractors from LGBT discrimination finalized

Federal contractors would be barred from LGBT discrimination under a rule that has gone to the Office of Management and Budget for review after being finalized by the Department of Labor. The rule stems from an executive order signed by President Barack Obama in July. Once reviewed by the OMB, the final text will be available in the Federal Register.
