Andrew Sullivan Announces Retirement From Blogging

Andrew Sullivan announced Wednesday that he intends to stop blogging after 15 years. In 1989, Sullivan, who is openly gay, became one of the first American journalists to advocate marriage equality. 

"I want to have an idea and let it slowly take shape, rather than be instantly blogged," Sullivan wrote of his decision.
