"Little Shop of Horrors" at Miners Alley Playhouse in Golden

“Little Shop of Horrors” is a comedy horror rock musical, by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, about a meek flower shop assistant, Seymour, who pines for co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey's boyfriend, Orin, to the plant after Orin's accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.

Miners Alley Playhouse presents, "Little Shop of Horrors" July 15 through August 21 in Golden. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30p.m; Sundays at 6:00 p.m. (closing Sunday, August 21 at 2 p.m.).
