Pairsine: Top Colorado chefs create gourmet food and wine pairings. You choose the winner!

Wine Country Network, producer of Wine Country International magazine and numerous professional beverage and culinary competitions, is hosting the Pairsine food and wine pairing competition on Thursday, November 2 as part of the Denver International Wine Festival

airsine is an annual event and Denver’s premier culinary competition for wine-savvy chefs. It will feature ten master chefs creating twenty culinary pairings with twenty gold-medal-winning wines from the 2017 Denver International Wine Competition. There’s no secret ingredient to cook. Given just one week’s notice, the chefs’ challenge is to create the perfect gourmet dish to pair with each of their two assigned wines.

Past winners and restaurants include:
• Hosea Rosenberg, Former Chef - Jax Fish House, Boulder, Top Chef Season 5 Winner, Owner-Chef of Blackbelly, Boulder
• Lon Symensma, Chef & Owner of ChoLon Concepts
• Rob Corey, Chef - Richard Sandoval Concepts, Instructor at Johnson & Wales University
• Elise Wiggins, Former Executive Chef at Panzano Denver, Owner-Chef of Cattivella

All attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice Award. This year’s chefs’ prizes include a large Big Green Egg Smoker Grill and roundtrip airline tickets to Mexico on AeroMexico (partnered with Delta).
