OUT on DVD/VOD: Brotherly Love
Dealing
with love in the face of religion, Brotherly Love held its world
premiere at the Glitter Oklahoma LGBT Film Festival where it won Best
Pictures, and went on to play numerous other festivals including
aGLIFF30, Reel Pride, Nevada International Film Festival where the film
won Best Feature, and qFLIX Worcester where Caruso took home the First
Time Director award.
Which
call do you answer? The one you feel from God or the one you feel about
your authentic self? This is the dilemma at hand for Brother Vito
(played by writer/director Anthony J. Caruso) struggling with a decision
as he must decide between becoming a Brother or allowing himself to
declare his love for Gabe (Derek Babb). Shot entirely in Austin and with
a local cast and crew, Brotherly Love is a fresh take on the
traditional gay love story, with The Golden Girls also playing an
important role in this romantic dramedy.
