Drew Wilson: Drew Wilson is the original MileHighGayGuy. He has also worked as the Communications and Marketing Manager for The GLBT Community Center of Colorado. Before that, he spent ten years as Editor of Out Front Colorado, Colorado's oldest and largest LGBT print publication.

Wilson has worked in radio, co-hosting a gay-themed two-hour weekly news and entertainment program for Clear Channel Communications and as a correspondent for KGNU Community Radio, and on television as a correspondent for 'The Lambda Report' and 'Colorado OutSpoken,' America’s longest running GLBT television news and information source.

Wilson has appeared on The CW2, ABC7 News, 'Studio 12' and 'Colorado Inside Out', and has been widely quoted in the media, including in The Denver Post, Westword, and The Associated Press.

He has written for US Weekly, Instinct magazine, Girlfriends magazine, MetroMode, Gay.com, PlanetOut.com, and Alyson Books, and served as the official blogger for Denver PrideFest - one of the Top Ten PrideFest celebrations in the country - for a number of years.

Philip Doyle: Philip Doyle has degrees in theatre and the culinary arts. Philip has worked as a director, actor, production manager and designer, chef, and advertising director. He thrives on creativity, and has a deep appreciation for others who celebrate the arts.


Eric Kehela: California native, Eric Kehela, 30, relocated to Denver, Colorado a year ago and enjoys being a full time life enthusiast with a zest for the finer things in life which include positive thinking and manifesting a wonderful day each day; he is multilingual and holds a BA in Speech Communications from San Francisco State University and is pursuing an MS in Professional Counseling.

With a passion for writing and performing, Eric uses his honed skills and intuition to guide, communicate and connect with the people around him.

Steven Bennett (aka StevieB): Raised up going on missions for the Mormon Church, Steve now calls Denver home. Blogging at NicetoseeStevieB.com for five years, Steve writes about his mile-high hometown, turning 40 and returning to college, and being a sci-fi loving, comic book reading, gym going, ex-Mormon.

Todd Craig: Todd Craig is a freelance writer, teacher, husband, and father to his five year old son, Joshua. He enjoys making ends meet, golfing poorly, and writing about life's experiences from his home in Colorado Springs.


John Hill: John Hill is a self-identified chart geek who has a passion for pop music of all kinds. Along with his chart-watching that began as a boy, he has also worked in the music industry in both retail and radio capacities, along with establishing a successful music blog.

John's experience with popular music goes back to his childhood, where he maintained his own charts based off of the Billboard Hot 100. As he progressed through his teens, he wanted to work in radio, and even achieved degrees in Radio/TV and Communications during his undergraduate studies. After graduating, he was drawn to the retail side of music for close to a decade before deciding that he liked having holidays with his family.

While his full-time job is in education, he currently writes a successful music blog titled Pop Music Notes. He is also active on Twitter @popmusicnotes and lives in Denver with his partners in crime James and Bruiser.

Matt Kailey: Matt Kailey is a gay transman and an award-winning author, blogger, teacher, and community leader, as well as a nationally recognized speaker and trainer on transgender issues.

He is the author of Just Add Hormones: An Insider’s Guide to the Transsexual Experience (Beacon Press), a Lambda Literary Award finalist and Rocky Mountain News local bestseller, and Teeny Weenies and Other Short Subjects, a collection of humorous and heartfelt essays about his life before and after transition. In addition, his work has appeared in numerous publications, from anthologies to professional journals.

He is also a media personality who has appeared on local and national radio and television, in local and national print publications, and in five documentary films.

Londell Jackson: Londell Jackson is the Director of Education & Programs for a statewide nonprofit association. In addition, he serves as an affiliate faculty member for Metropolitan State University of Denver, University College at University of Denver, and the Colorado Community College System. A Denver native, Londell has worked for various organizations throughout the Denver metropolitan area including Gill Foundation, Denver Employment Alliance, National Endowment for Financial Education, and Center for Work Education and Employment.

Londell hold a bachelors degree in nonprofit administration, a masters degree in education, and is currently working toward a doctorate degree in education. Additionally, Londell serves on several boards and committees -- locally and nationally. Londell is a Commissioner of the Denver GLBT Commission, and is a board member of the Emily Griffith Foundation and the Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation.

Londell is a self-appointed foodie and can be found often in the kitchen whipping up recipes or dreaming up creations of his own; you'll probably see him at one of the many established eateries in Denver and beyond. Like most Coloradans, Londell and his husband, John, enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and most things outdoors. During the colder months, entertaining friends and family, to include his bloodhound, basset hound, and two cats, or just snuggled up on the couch takes priority.

David Smith: David Smith is an exercise professional and specializes in exercise, nutrition and wellness programs for the GLBT community.

His passion lies in promoting the physical, mental and social benefits of exercise and healthy diet unite the GLBT community by breaking down the stigmas and barriers often associated with exercise and fitness to make it accessible for everybody regardless of anything.

In his personal endeavors, He is also an active athlete having competed in swimming, taekwondo, triathlon and running events. Highlights of his athletic career include winning six medals and setting a meet record at the 2010 Gay Games in swimming. Competing on the National Collegiate level in taekwondo and swimming, training to compete in his first full Ironman, having completed several half Ironmans and finishing his first Marathon. David currently swims with the Denver Squid Swim Team and is training for the 2014 Gay Games as well. He is the owner of Stonewall Fitness, holds a degree in exercise science from Metropolitan State University of Denver and holds several fitness certifications including ACSM Personal Trainer and Group Fitness.


Patrick McAleer: Patrick is a professional singer and actor working in the Denver Metro area. He has been performing since he could walk and talk. Patrick received his Bachelors of Music in Voice from University of Colorado at Boulder and his Masters of Music in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University, where he was awarded the Margaret E Petree (full-ride) Scholarship. Patrick has performed in numerous professional choirs and was a Featured Soloist for the Oklahoma City University’s Women of Excellence Fundraiser and the Women’s Vision Foundation VIP reception. Patrick is currently the Tenor Section Leader at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church.

After graduate school, he moved back to Colorado to be closer to his family and the mountains. He currently works at Kaiser Permanente and is a Mentor for Colorado Youth at Risk.

Simon O'Mahony: Simon O’Mahony, originally from Dublin, Ireland, graduated with a degree in Business and Marketing. Prior to moving to Denver in 2000, Simon worked for GE Capital Solutions in Dublin as Financial Assistant. After meeting with several local recruiting companies for employment, it was suggested that he should become a recruiter. Ten years later he is still recruiting.

Simon was personally recruited by Sage Hospitality and joined the organization as a Corporate Recruiter in 2006. In 2009, Simon was promoted into the role of Talent Acquisition Manager for Sage Hospitality and Sage Restaurant Group. Simon is responsible for hiring management positions for Sage Hospitality nationwide and for their corporate office in downtown Denver. He is also involved in overall recruiting initiatives including college recruiting programs, diversity initiatives, and employer branding. Simon works with several local and nationwide agencies, colleges, universities, in order to build a network and pipeline of candidates. In 2009 he was the recipient of the Sage Innovation Award as a result of his use of social media networking to enhance the recruiting process.

When he is not recruiting, (Recruiters are always working!) Simon enjoys Colorado’s beautiful outdoors. He also has a passion for photography and while it sounds like a cliché he loves meeting new people (which is why he probably loves recruiting!). Simon is a supporter of several non-profit organizations in Denver.

Greg McDowell: Greg McDowell is a recent transplant to Denver from Memphis, Tennessee. Since moving to town, Greg has been making the most of what Denver and the surrounding areas have to offer. When not working, Greg can be found outdoors hiking, biking and trying to snowboard.


An avid concert goer, Greg enjoys a wide variety of music and seeing live shows. Greg also enjoys checking out all the comedy acts, films, and plays running in Denver.  Greg can also be found out enjoying the occasional brewpub. 

When not out on the town Greg can be found at home mastering video games and burning through Netflix. 


Jason Anderson: Jason Anderson is a young gaymer living in Denver with his husband and three dogs. One of the three co-founders of Two Guys and a Zombie Studios, Jason works in Database and Art Design for the company as they develop their first title, Theocalypse.

In his off time, he enjoys playing video games ranging from RPGs to Third Person Shooters, listening to progressive podcasts such as Citizen Radio, and baking treats for his husband’s co-workers.

Not your typical cub, Jason has done a number of odd jobs, such as working in taverns in Ireland, participating in martial art tourneys in college, studying Japanese style fencing, and testing surfboards in Santa Monica, rounding out an interesting set of skills.

If ya see him in a bar, grab him a beer, he’ll be happy to exchange stories for a while.
