Tender at her core, Jaquie Brown will have fans cheering for her as she stumbles her way to the “middle.”The webcam-based “Jeffery and Cole Casserole” ventures into the future of comedy as Jeffery Self and Cole Escola serve viewers a comedic mash up of madcap sketches, bizarre moments and overall mayhem in this sketch comedy series shot entirely from a web-cam. “Beautiful People,” the BBC series inspired by the eccentric childhood of style guru Simon Doonan, delves inside Simon’s youthful memories and his desire to escape suburban working class Reading, England. This coming-of-age story filled with musical showstoppers highlights Simon’s attempts to cope with the oddities of his very eccentric family. All the while, he and his best friend Kyle (or “Kylie” as everyone refers to him) bide their time until they can live amongst the “beautiful people” in London. It’s like “Glee,” only gayer – and more British.
