Ever feel like a second-class citizen? That's because you are!

In case the news about gays and taxes wasn't depressing and aggravating enough, the Washington Post points out one more way gays are treated as second class citizens in our own country - this time in regards to immigration rights.

This unfairness may be about to end, however, thanks to the efforts of New York's Rep. Jerrold Nadler and Vermont's Sen. Patrick Leahy, sponsors of the Uniting American Families Act to allow gays and lesbians the same opportunity as heterosexual couples to sponsor their partner for immigration.
