Is the United States ready to end Don't Ask, Don't Tell?

With an average of almost two members of the military being let go every day because of their sexual orientation, urgent action is required to end the military gay ban, according to Paul DeMiglio, senior communications manager for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network.

"The country is ready," DeMiglio writes. "Public opinion has shifted dramatically in the 16 years since DADT was first signed into law. For the first time, a clear majority of both conservatives and liberals agree that DADT has got to go." - via The Bilerico Project
