The West Denver Democratic Coalition, encompassing State House Districts 1, 2, and 4, will be leading a neighborhood clean-up project and day of service as part of its Safe Neighborhoods for Kids outreach efforts in the Westwood neighborhood. All children have the right to clean neighborhoods and safe schools and the West Denver Democratic Coalition is asking community members for a couple of hours of time to help clean up graffiti and alley ways and help take back the Westwood neighborhood.
The event will take place September 12 fom 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Castro Elementary, 845 S. Lowell Blvd. in Denver.
