Media reports last week about a government study of HIV prevalence among gay men in the U.S. said that 20% of gay men are HIV positive, but Timothy Kincaid writes for Box Turtle Bulletin that closer examination of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study
shows the true infection rate is 11.8%.
