In February photographer Tim Hailand is releasing the next two books in his One Day in The Life of... photo book series: One Day in The Life of RUFUS WAINWRIGHT and One Day in The Life of JAKE SHEARS. The series gives an inside glimpse into the private lives of celebrities, following them over the course of one day. Both Rufus and Jake provide text for their respective books, and each has a special intro: Elton John wrote Rufus' and Cherry Vanilla wrote Jake's. A portion of proceeds go to a charity of the celeb's choice. Rufus has chosen the Kate McGarrigle Fund for cancer research in honor of his late mother, and Jake has chosen the Elton John AIDS Foundation.You can also learn more about the series here, where both books are available for a special reduced-price pre-order.
