Lawyers for supporters of California's Proposition 8 last week asked appeals court Judge Stephen Reinhardt (pictured) to disqualify himself from hearing the case because they say his wife's position as an American Civil Liberties Union official could interfere with his impartiality.
Reinhardt responded that he would not recuse himself.
