Advocates urge silent protest during Australian Open

LGBT rights advocates are urging attendees of the Australian Open tennis tournament to wearrainbow colors and display the rainbow flag in the stands of Margaret Court Arena, which is named after an Australian tennis great who has publicly opposed marriage equality.

One British player who wore a rainbow colored headband in her opening match said, "I wore it because I believe in equal rights for everyone."
