President
Barack Obama spoke to a group of 40 LGBT donors at a private home in
Washington, D.C., last week, where he touted his administration's
record on LGBT issues and promised more progress.
"What you hear when
you hear Obama speak you really hear his authenticity, his
thoughtfulness and just his genuine compassion for gay people, the
entire American people and the American dream," said Denver's Tim Gill (pictured), founder of The Gill Foundation. For 17 years, the Gill Foundation has been an advocate for LGBT equality.
