Barney Frank On Coming Out in Congress

The Washington Post interviews departing Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., about coming out to his colleagues in Congress in the 1980s. After learning he was gay, House Speaker Tip O’Neill told his press aide to get ready because Frank was “coming out of the room,” Frank said.
