Openly gay boxer loses title fight ...

... but he's still a winner to me!

Two-time featherweight champion Orlando Salido defeated Orlando Cruz in the world featherweight title match last Saturday night. Cruz, who became the first active professional boxer to come out as gay last October, was knocked out in the seventh round. "I went into the corner and he hit me with a good shot," Cruz said afterward. Cruz and his team wore rainbow-colored clothing to the match, which was the first title contest of Cruz's 13-year professional career.
