The Queens of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - The Musical" #ShareTheMattress

Members of the national touring company of “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert-The Musical” have made a feather-, fur- and laugh-filled entry for the online viral campaign #ShareTheMattress.  The video is part of the ongoing series conceived by choreographer and artistic director Larry Keigwin to celebrate Keigwin + Company’s tenth anniversary and the return of its signature dance piece “Mattress Suite” to New York’s Joyce Theater this fall.

The video features “Priscilla” performers Babs Rubenstein, Taurean Everett and Ralph Meitzler, along with tour merchandise managers Shawn P. Mahoney and Nick Turner (and Nick’s furry little travel buddy Rexy) as they dance, vogue, limbo, and do a doggie manicure in a Houston hotel room.  While not exactly trashed, the room had a plethora of pink “Priscilla” feathers by the time filming ended.  And, while the original version is set to the #ShareTheMattress theme composed by Adam Crystal, the group had so many good scenes they made an extended version set to Taylor Dayne’s dance hit “Can’t Get Enough.”
