Hollywood to Dollywood, directed by John Lavin and currently airing on Here TV, centers on twin brothers, Gary and Larry, who have written a screenplay with a
perfect role for their idol, Dolly Parton. They decide to set off on a
cross-country road trip to personally deliver the screenplay to Dolly herself.
With a soundtrack featuring 15 classic Dolly Parton songs, this feel-good documentary
follows the brothers and their band of intrepid travelers as they meet everyday
Americans, dodge floods and tornadoes, and search for tolerance and acceptance
while realizing their biggest dream: delivering their screenplay to Dolly.
Matthew Smith’s documentary, Out in the Open, will, once and for
all, destroy the misconceptions, fears, and myths about LGBTQ people. This
uplifting documentary is geared toward at-risk youth across the world as well
as their families, friends, and teachers. Featuring interviews with
celebrities, politicians, and everyday allies who openly embrace the LGBTQ
community, this film asserts that every person is different and that all people
should be celebrated. Out in the Open begins airing
November 15 on Here TV.
Nate & Margaret stars Tyler Ross
and Natalie West in the title roles. Nate is 19 years old. Margaret is 52.
Their odd, quirky, and totally working friendship gets rattled when Nate finds
his first boyfriend. Nate’s new boyfriend begins to drive him away from Margaret
as she tries to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian. The Nathan
Adloff–directed film starts its run on Here TV November 29.
