Idaho marriage ruling delayed by appeals court

A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has granted Idaho Gov. Butch Otter's request for a stay of a decision striking down Idaho's ban on marriage equality. The stay means that same-sex couples in Idaho will not be able to start marrying today as expected. The court is considering extending the stay until the state finishes appealing the decision striking down Idaho's marriage ban.
