March with the ACLU of Colorado at PrideFest!

It's an exciting time for those of us fighting for LGBT equality and the ACLU has led the charge for the past 45 years, from filing the country's first equal marriage lawsuit in 1970, to helping Edie Windsor successfully challenge the core of the Defense of Marriage Act, to arguing for marriage equality in front of the Supreme Court last month.

Celebrate the ACLU’s long history of defending LGBT rights by marching with the ACLU of Colorado in the Denver PrideFest Parade on Sunday, June 21 in downtown Denver. RSVP to get the exact location of the meetup.

The parade starts at Cheesman Park at 9:30 a.m. and ends at PrideFest in Civic Center Park. Marchers should plan to be ready to march no later than 8:45 a.m. Receive a free ACLU "Out for Freedom" T-shirt (available on a first-come, first-served basis) for marching with the ACLU!

With the Supreme Court poised to decide on the freedom to marry cases this month, 2015 is expected to be a historic year for equality.
