The Denver Channel received video of Mayor Michael Hancock's son using anti-gay slurs during a traffic stop last Friday. That's bad. What's worse is the Mayor's weak Twitter response:
Let him know this non-apology isn't good enough and that he owes Denver's LGBTQ community more.
You can start by contacting the members of the Denver Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer Commission (LGBTQ) Commission and letting them know what you think. Their job is to advise the office of the Mayor on the issues facing Denver's LGBTQ community.
