Dancing has always been a part of Harrison's life since childhood. Growing up in a small town outside of Charleston, SC, he took clogging lessons at his mother's dance studio. He would also learn more modern styles of dance from hours of watching Britney Spears videos. It was fitting that he would write a breakup song with the dance floor as the setting.
Harrison says, "This song is about right after you’ve had your heart broken and you can’t face your feelings. Instead you go out, dance and not let that pain in.” He adds, “This song is extremely autobiographical.”
