WMU-COOLEY TO HOST COMMUNITY DISCUSSION ON PRIDE MONTH

On June 14, at 12 p.m., WMU-Cooley Law School will host a virtual discussion with Christine A. Yared, an attorney, educator, and activist for the June Pride Month Community Conversations event called, LGBTQ+ Law: Outrageous Laws & Everyday Rebellions.

Yared has been practicing law for over three decades. As an attorney, writer, speaker, educator, and activist, she is an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, and has fought against discrimination based on LGBTQ identity, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, and against sexual harassment.

Join the virtual event to find out what you can do as law student, lawyer, or community member to make significant, impactful change for the LGBTQ+ community.

The public may RSVP to attend the virtual event at https://www.cooley.edu/events.
