- A return to physical books. Lambda is able to accept physical submissions again! Physical copies are often easier on the eyes of judges and may be helpful for graphics-heavy categories such as Children's Books or Comics.
- Category updates. LGBTQ+ Children's and LGBTQ+ Middle Grade are now separate categories to allow for a judging criteria that respects the strengths of each category's formats. The LGBTQ Erotica category is now LGBTQ+ Romance and Erotica, to invite works of romance highlighting identities which do not fit within existing Lesbian and Gay Romance categories.
On the website, you can now find a comprehensive, searchable, and downloadable database of all winners and finalists in all categories since 1989, a FAQ page to help demystify the Lammys process (and help clear out the Awards inbox!) which you can find here, and a form which allows for public submissions of names to our ceremony's In Memoriam segment.
