'Gameboys The Movie' Coming Out September 13

Gameboys The Movie follows the story of gamers turned lovers Cairo and Gavreel as they get to spend time together in Gavreel's house, a few weeks before Cairo returns to his province. What starts out as a romantic holiday for the young couple turns into a relationship test that they must to overcome. Cairo is faced with the reality of his imminent departure, while Gavreel is compelled to make a life-changing decision. After defying distance and even the pandemic, will Cairo and Gavreel be able to prove once again that their love for each other is strong enough to withstand fate and circumstance?

At the height of the pandemic in 2020, GAMEBOYS, considered to be the Philippines first hit “Boys Love” series, premiered on YouTube, and proved so successful that by 2021, it was picked up by Netflix globally, and spawned GAMEBOYS THE MOVIE which releases on digital and DVD this September from Dark Star Pictures.

Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, and starring Kokoy De Santos and Elijah Canlas, GAMEBOYS THE MOVIE will be available September 13 on Digital Platforms and September 20 on DVD.
