Victory Fund names "Ten Races to Watch"
The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, which works to help elect openly LGBT candidates to public office, released its "Ten Races to Watch" list this week. The list includes Providence, R.I., Mayor David Cicilline (pictured), who is seeking a seat in Congress; Victoria Kolakowski, who could become the nation's first openly transgender judge; and Dan Hill, a young Republican seeking a seat in the Nevada State House.

Victory Fund releases video salute to women in gay politics
The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund celebrated Women's History Month with a video honoring the roles women have played in LGBT electoral politics. U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and Victory Fund Deputy Executive Director Robin Brand make appearances. - via Advocate.com

Two openly gay candidates for Supreme Court?
News that President Barack Obama may be considering two openly gay law professors -- Kathleen Sullivan(l) and Pam Karlan(r) -- for a slot on the Supreme Court. Awesome!
