Joel Burns participated in White House bullying conference

Fort Worth, Texas City Councilman Joel Burns was invited to join the White House conference on bullying last week. A video of Burns' speaking to his colleagues about being bullied when he was a teenager went viral last year, drawing more than 20,000 people to contact him. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama welcomed advocates, government officials, parents, faith leaders and educators to the daylong event.
