One Colorado: Support the journey of folks across the state to get to LGBTQ Lobby Day!

One Colorado's LGBTQ Lobby Day is just around the corner, and this year we need YOUR help to support folks from around the state who need to travel to Lobby Day. It's so important that our community shows up in numbers so that our elected officials see the faces of the folks they represent and hear about the issues impacting LGBTQ Coloradans.

We're expecting about 25 folks to make the drive from the Western Slope to join us for Lobby Day this year. It costs over $100 to sponsor travel and accommodations for one person. Can you pitch in $10, $20 or $50 to make sure everyone can make it to Denver for LGBTQ Lobby Day this year?

It's almost that time, friends!

Our annual LGBTQ Lobby Day is just a month away and we want to make sure you have everything you need to register and participate this year. The best way we can shape the future of equality in Colorado is by making sure our elected representatives hear from us, so mark your calendar for March 14th and register for free!

Lobby Day participants will have a chance to talk to legislators about One Colorado's priority bills to support this session, from expanding protections for LGBTQ parents to ensuring our state's hate crime code protects gender identity/expression, and equipping health care providers with the tools to address the needs of our community. If any anti-LGBTQ bills are introduced, you'll also have a chance to tell them why you oppose that legislation.

We will be closely monitoring COVID-19 rates in the lead-up to this event, and will require facial coverings and proof of vaccination. If you have any questions about Lobby Day or would like more details, feel free to email me at saraht@one-colorado.org.
