Jeffrey Sanker Names Kelly Osbourne Queen of White Party Palm Springs 2015

Jeffrey Sanker, producer of White Party Palm Springs, the largest gay dance music festival in the world, has named fashion icon and star of E! Entertainment’s “Fashion Police,” Kelly Osbourne as the 2015 “Queen of White Party.” White Party takes place April 24-27 in Palm Springs, CA.

Osbourne will be officially crowned at a special ceremony happening when she co-hosts the White Carpet arrivals. Joining her is White Party Ambassador and co-host Frankie Grande for the Saturday night main event at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Said Sanker, “With her haute couture style and outspoken personality, Kelly is a perfect fit as Queen of White Party. White Party 25th Anniversary Recap

With an influx of more than 30,000 attendees over the course of the weekend, Jeffrey Sanker's annual White Party in Palm Springs celebrated its 25th anniversary with the most diverse crowd ever. The three day event drew attendees from around the globe - ranging from longtime White Party alumni, to a new generation of first-timers, all enjoying the various pool parties, events and performances: eight parties in 72 hours! This year’s talent included Ariana Grande (pictured with Jeffrey Sanker), Deborah Cox, G.R.L., Che'Nelle and Bleona, along with a Sunday T-Dance fireworks display choreographed to music. Moved permanently off Easter Weekend the Silver Anniversary celebration lead to the largest turnout in White Party history and sellout of all host hotels. WPPS 2015 will take place April 24 -27.

In celebration of his 25^th Anniversary, White Party Founder and Producer Jeffrey Sanker has created the WHITE PARTY PALM SPRINGS ICON AWARDS. These awards recognize a select group whose unique and varied achievements have stood out and best embody the spirit of White Party.   

“We are thrilled to present our special Icon Awards to individuals who have exemplified White Party’s defining principles of unity & celebration, commitment to excellence and leading edge creativity,” said Sanker.  “I look forward to presenting those attending recipients their awards on the White Carpet at this year’s Saturday main event.”

Carmen Electra (center) joined Jeffrey Sanker, founder and producer of White Party Palm Springs (R), as he received the Golden Palm Star #364 on The Palm Springs Walk of Stars. 

Bob Alexander, Walk of Stars President (left), officially presented the star, which is located at the southeast corner of Palm Canyon Drive & Arenas Road. Sanker also announced that Carmen Electra would be crowned “Queen of the White Party” at its 25th Anniversary weekend April 25-28, 2014.

This year’s main event takes it to the extreme with two amazing artists co-headlining the world famous party.

Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters will rock White Party into the ultimate Palm Springs Kiki with an unforgettable solo performance.  In addition, Roc Nation/Columbia Records artist Alexis Jordan returns by popular demand to spread the “happiness” and debut her slamming new song, “Acid Rain.”

Jeffrey Sanker's White Party Palm Springs snatches trophies at the 7th Annual JustCircuit Awards

In advance of this year’s White Party Palm Springs, Jeffrey Sanker’s annual event scored three trophies at Just Circuit Magazine’s 7th Annual JustCircuit Awards Gala, held March 25th at Chalk Lounge in South Beach – Miami. Sanker (pictured above) took the top honor of Party Promoter/Producer of the Year; White Party Palm Springs was named Best Overall Circuit Week / Weekend and its official host hotel, The Renaissance Palm Springs, won for Best Host Hotel (US).

Held on the final night of Miami’s Winter Music Conference, JustCircuit Magazine’s annual awards gala recognizes the best of the best gay –oriented festivals and events worldwide.   In scoring the results, nearly 3800 votes were tabulated from registered Just Circuit members casting ballots at www.justcircuit.com from all over the globe.  Winners in each of the more than 20 categories received stunning custom-engraved, star-topped crystal trophies.

“I am so very grateful and honored,” said Sanker.  “Each of these awards means a lot because they are voted on by the people who know best, those who attend events worldwide - many thanks to all those who voted.”

Most of you know Lisa Vanderpump as the classiest of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But watch out! Lisa is coming to the largest gay dance music festival in North America - White Party Palm Springs, and, guess what?  Producer Jeffrey Sanker will be crowing her QUEEN OF WHITE PARTY 2012!   

Restaurateur, designer, actress, humanitarian, Lisa will also preside over and provide color commentary for the ‘White Carpet’ celebrity and VIP arrivals during Saturday night’s main event at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

If you thought 2012 was going to be the end, Jeffrey has some news for you.  It’s just the BEGINNING!  Jeffrey has an ALL STAR DJ Lineup and entertainers to make you scream this year including Saturday night headliner – Superstar Mary J. Q. You seem to be the sanest out of all the cast members of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Who do you think is the most insane?

A. I would never talk badly about any of the girls, that’s just not who I am. I’ll let you and the viewers be the judge of that.

Q. In the last season, Cedric decided to “surprise” and/or “congratulate” you at the opening of SUR.  Do you think he would try that again at White Party Palm Springs? 

A. If he shows up, I hope I will have 20,000 of my closest friends on my side.

Q. Why do you think the LGBT Community loves you so much? 

A. I don’t think they necessarily love me. I’m just very supportive. I’ve owned a few gay bars over the years including Shadow Lounge in London and I think it’s really important that I use my heterosexual voice in supporting the LGBT community.

Q. What was your reaction when Jeffrey Sanker asked you to be “Queen of White Party 2012” 

A. I’d be disappointed if he hadn’t. (laughing)

Q. How long will you be staying at White Party weekend? Will you be enjoying all that Palm Springs has to offer? 

A. Long enough for my hangover to wear off.

Q. Will Giggy be making an appearance? 

A. Giggy will come, but he probably won’t go to the party.  He is in very high demand right now.  His 20/20 interview was today and he’s been a CNN correspondent for the Royal Wedding and The Oscars!  He will be there!

Q. Would you consider yourself Giggy’s “Stage Mom” 

A. First of all, I’m not his mother, I’m his mistress. His name is Giggy (short for Gigolo) and what we have is a wonderful love affair.

Q. Do you run your own Twitter account?  Will you be tweeting LIVE from White Party? 

A. I do run my own Twitter account. I feel that my Twitter is very personal, and I don’t get paid to tweet things. I think that my followers would notice if it wasn’t me.

Q. Any chance of you performing a dance remix of “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” LOL 

A. They are welcome to play it, but I won’t be singing it! (laughing)

Q.  What is next for Lisa Vanderpump? 

A. A LONG vacation.
