FBI to investigate gay candidate's murder

The FBI will look into the recent murder of Marco McMillian, an openly gay man who was running for mayor of Clarksdale, Miss., when he was killed. FBI officials will try to find evidence that the murder was a hate crime under federal law. Mississippi's hate crimes laws do not extend to crimes related to a victim's sexual orientation.
