Report: More than 32,000 bi-national same-sex couples in U.S.

A report from the The Williams Institute at UCLA estimates there are 32,300 same-sex couples living in the U.S. where one partner is not a U.S. citizen

Of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in America, 267,000 adults identify as LGBT, the report found.

Advocates want Washington to remedy immigration laws that do not recognize same-sex couples for purposes of gaining residency or citizenship.
