Solidarity@Auraria - #SomosOrlando - An Event to Remember and Memorialize the Victims of the Orlando Shooting

Shortly after the Orlando tragedy that has deeply affected the Latinx and LGBTQ communities, a campus committee entitled Solidarity@Auraria was convened to formulate a campus response.

As an initial step, the group will be hosting a #SomosOrlando Memorial Event on Monday, July 11 from 12:30 – 2 p.m. in the Tivoli Commons. The goal for this event is to remember and celebrate the victims, promote healing and community, and enlighten attendees regarding sexuality and intersectionality of identities.
