The special event will feature a chance to win a full merch bundle from LAPOMPE, swing dance lessons from Swingin’ Denver, and a full ten-track playthru of LAPOMPEs new album, Passages. Fans new and old will experience the bands diverse and meticulously crafted collection of whip-fast gypsy jazz and swing tunes, evocative blues numbers, and soft ballads from the album.
Says the band, "After having a chance to debut our new material in front of local audiences across the Front Range, we couldn't be more excited to bring it all home to Union Station in the heart of Denver to celebrate the national release of our new album "Passages." Union Station's unique place as a cross section of historic and modern Denver mirrors our own journey, taking a musical genre steeped in history and infusing it with our own voice. On June 4th we will be showcasing our compositions, in addition to a free swing dance lesson by Swingin' Denver, who have been supporters of ours since the very beginning."
