Telluride Gay Ski Week Announces Dates for 2008

Telluride Gay Ski Week 2008 will take place from Saturday, February 23, 2008 to Saturday, March 1, 2008. Since its first year in 2004, Telluride Gay Ski Week has played host to thousands of guests from the local community to as far away as New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and Hawaii. Net proceeds from the event support local 501(c)(3) organization, the Telluride AIDS Benefit, a grass roots organization committed to raising awareness in local communities about the global pandemic of HIV/AIDS for more than twelve years.

The annual Telluride Gay Ski Week (TGSW) is a unique vacation experience that stands apart from other gay ski functions. Designed as an alternative to other gay ski events, TGSW combines a unique blend of top-rate skiing and unpretentious activities with spirited but laid-back charm of a European-style ski town. Guests will enjoy the 92-acre pedestrian centre of Mountain Village that encompasses an array of recreational facilities, restaurants, hotels and shops offering a unique selection of jewelry, furnishings, apparel and antiques.

Telluride Gay Ski Week 2008 will boast a full schedule of events in addition to its acclaimed skiing. Plans for a number of activities as well as après' ski events are currently underway and will be announced on the official Telluride Gay Ski Week website as they are confirmed.
