Ryan White's Mother to Appear on MSNBC Today

Today at 3:30 p.m. Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of Ryan White, will be on MSNBC speaking with Nora O’Donnell. The interview is expected to run about five minutes. They will be discussing her request to meet with Gov. Mike Huckabee regarding his 1992 comments that people living with HIV and AIDS should have been “isolated” even after it was determined the virus was not spread through casual contact. Jeanne White-Ginder is the mother of Ryan White, who was diagnosed with AIDS on December 17, 1984, and captivated the attention of millions as he battled the disease and ultimately succumbed to it.
