The Laramie Project returns to Denver for 10th Anniversary of Matthew Shepard

2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard, and 'The Laramie Project' returns to DCPA where it originally debuted eight years ago. Created from more than 200 interviews from Laramie, WY residents, the play chronicles life in the town of Laramie, Wyoming a year after the murder. Eight actors embody more than 60 different residents from rural ranchers to university professors. This complex and theatrical portrayal dispels the simplistic media stereotypes and explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of human compassion.

Tickets are $12 through tomorrow so act now and RSVP to Debbie Cole at dcole@adl.org or 303-830-7177, ext. 212. After tomorrow tickets are $16 and can be purchased at www.denvercenter.org.
