"Come see them make up Shakespearey stuff…"

Improv comedy troupe Wordplay will bring their unique style of completely improvised Shakespeare plays to the Avenue Theater on Wednesday, June 11th at 7:30pm. It's an evening of seldom-heard words, general silliness, and improvised intellectual stimulation. And death. There will probably be some death. Oh, and a mandolin.

The ensemble has been performing together since late 2006 and will continue in 2008 at The Avenue Theater on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm. Wednesday's cast will include Shannon Wood Rothenberg, Chris Gallegos, Meredith Winfield, Hermann West, Yvette Rebik, and a special guest for the evening, Mark Shonsey. They will continue to feature a different special guest for each performance. You can visit their website at www.WordplayDoesShakespeare.com

Wordplay plays at the Avenue Theatre (417 E. 17th in Uptown Denver) on Wednesday, June 11th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 (all ages welcome), and includes a drink. Denver-area students of improv may purchase tickets for just $5 (no drink) by giving their name and instructor's name at the door.
