Broncos cool off Jets

The Broncos were kings of the road once more on Sunday, beating the New York Jets at their house, 34-17.

It was the Broncos' third consecutive road win, and it came on the shoulders of several players, not the least of which was Jay Cutler.

Cutler threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns, Peyton Hillis ran for 129 yards and a touchdown and the defense had a score on a fumble return by Vernon Fox.

It was a total effort by the Broncos, who now hold a three-game lead in the AFC West with four games to play.

The win moves the Broncos to 7-5. Next week the team will have a chance for a little revenge for its first loss of the season when the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs come to INVESCO Field at Mile High.
