Earthfest Boulder

Earthfest Boulder, a celebration of sustainability and community, is set to launch its inaugural year on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at CU Research Park in Boulder, Colorado. Earthfest Boulder is one of several innovative Colorado events being produced by All Phases Event Group in 2009.

APEG founder and president Scott Nicholls and Adventure Film Fest's Jonny Copp recognized a lack of cohesion among local area Earth Day activities. For 2009, the two have pulled them together under one roof, Earthfest, LLC.

Earthfest Boulder is a free, family-friendly outdoor event expected to attract a diverse audience with a unique mix of athletic, artistic, and educational activities - honors Earth Day in a new way with the theme of "sustainability edutainment." Located at the accessible and scenic CU Research Park, guests will enjoy local organic food and live entertainment, access to over 100 sustainable businesses & organizations, and hands-on activities such as interaction with wild animals, Leave No Trace clinics, renewable energy demos, fly fishing & climbing classes, and a cruiser bike parade. Earthfest Boulder is free and open to the public.
