Leslie & The Badgers bring bourgeois country to Denver

"You can drive a thousand miles and stay right where you are." Those sweetly sung lyrics on "Salvation" accurately describes the journey of Missouri native, singer-songwriter and guitarist Leslie Stevens, namesake for the Los Angeles "bourgeois country" outfit Leslie & The Badgers. The group offer their third independent release on July 1, 2009 and accompanied by a month long national tour that includes stop in Colorado in Laporte at the Swing Station on June 16 and in Denver at the Larimer Lounge on June 17.
