The Rapids bested their archrivals Real Salt Lake at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night by the score of 2-0, taking the first Rocky Mountain Cup match of the year in the annual battle for supremacy of the Rocky Mountain region.Nick LaBrocca and Kosuke Kimura both tallied their first goals of the season for the Rapids, and goalkeeper Matt Pickens posted a shutout as the Rapids claimed a valuable 3 points at home.
