The news that Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett will be getting married brought a little tear to my eye but at the same time I can't help but think about all of the gay couples - including many in the same types of grim situations as the terminally ill Farrah Fawcett - who don't have the right or the luxury or the opportunity to do the same.
