Pikes Peak Lavender Film Festival

In two weeks, the Pikes Peak Lavender Film Festival will celebrate their tenth year with a great line-up of films and fun parties.

The festival opens with a catered reception with complimentary wine/beer, followed by a double feature: 'I Can't Think Straight' and 'Patrik, Age 1.5'. Both poignant movies are romantic comedies that will warm your heart and keep you laughing.

The rest of the weekend is filled with informative and entertaining films. Saturday begins with two documentaries about transgendered people and continues the with a lesbian film from Taiwan and Germany, a youth film and Saturday night features that will keep you highly entertained.

The festival continues on Sunday with a sequel to 'The Naked Civil Servant', two women's documentaries, a men's film about the difficult choices we face when in love. The festival concludes with a love story of two women whose relationship lasts from childhood to old age starring the remarkable Sharon Gless.
